2017 Groundwater Foundation Conference Summary

December 1, 2017

MCWEC attended and presented at the 2017 Groundwater Foundation Conference in Boise, Idaho in October! Along with our presentation, there were many other interesting and thought provoking presentations from our fellow groundwater enthusiasts including the City of Boise, the US Geological Survey, and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.

The conference program is available for download as well as the full conference proceedings.

If you are interested in looking at presentations from organizations similar to MCWEC, check out Kathryn Elliot of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality’s presentation Raising Awareness about Groundwater as Source Water, Lisa Corbitt of the Mecklenburg, North Carolina County Public Health Department’s presentation Permitting Wells and Managing Groundwater Contamination Sites, and Gayle Galbraith of the City of Dayton, Ohio Water Department’s presentation Modernized Evaluation of Risk in a Source Water Protection Area.
