Initial Assessment
During the assessment, a representative from Mundell helps your business identify site specific ways to limit potential for groundwater contamination. In addition to protecting our drinking water, an assessment can help maintain the value of your property by addressing potential sources of contamination and avoiding future cleanup costs. Your business may receive free spill containment supplies in return for participating in an assessment.
Reassessments
The Marion County Wellfield Education Corporation would like to evaluate how successful your initial evaluation has been for your business and for protecting our wellfields. Please invite us to return to your business!
Your reassessment will be very similar to your original assessment. A representative from Mundell & Associates, Inc. will evaluate how successful previous suggestions have been in helping your business limit potential for groundwater contamination.
Mundell & Associates, Inc. is a private company, contracted by MCWEC to provide wellfield-related environmental consulting services at no cost to businesses in the wellfield. MUNDELL does not report any site-specific observations to any regulatory agencies. These assessments are intended to ensure businesses are operating in ways protective to groundwater.
