Grab your bikes or hop on the bus this weekend to travel eco friendly style to the annual Earth Day Indiana festival. Held each year at Garfield Park, the festival aims to connect Hoosiers and promote environmental protection, conservation of natural resources, β βand sustainable living.
There’s plenty for the entire family to do including hands-on exhibits from The Children’s Museum and Indiana State Museum and Historic sites. Stop by the Marion County Wellfield education table to check out our groundwater contamination model and follow where the water goes as it travels underground.
While you’re making your traveling list, add in electronics to recycle (free drop off) and a couple items of gently used clothing for the clothing swap. EV owners are also invited to bring their vehicles and share their experiences with festival participants.
There will be plenty of food and live music throughout the day from opening at 10am to closing at 4pm. Be sure to take a break and enjoy time with members of the community as you listen to the sounds or try a new pilates move with Pure Barre Pilates.
