Regular Special Electronic Recycling Events in Central Indiana

April 24, 2023

Can’t make it to the regular hours of e-waste recyclers in the Indianapolis area? The Indianapolis Indianapolis Office of Sustainability and Recycle Force often hold special e-waste recycling events around Christmas, Earth Day, and in conjunction with other sponsors throughout the year.

Follow them on your favorite social media platform to find a time convenient for you.

How does recycling e-waste protect drinking water?

Indiana law requires the safe disposal of e-waste. Most electronics contain hazardous elements that can cause damage to our natural environment and public health.

When these items are discarded in the trash these substances break down into our soil and water. Additionally, recycling electronics helps reduce water used in new product manufacturing.

If your electronic device is still working – consider donating it to help others in our community!
