Just after National Groundwater Awareness Week each year, the National Groundwater Association holds its annual Smart Water Policies Fly-In.
On March 22 and 23, 2023 groundwater professionals and other interested parties will meet in Washington, D.C. for two days of advocacy surrounding the groundwater industry’s most pressing policy issues.
Opportunities during the days include meeting with representatives, policy presentations, and networking receptions. Participants will discuss topics such as expanding grants for private water well owners, PFAS, managed aquifer recharge, or workforce development.
If you can’t make it to Washington DC, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with Indiana legislators around local water issues during this year’s long session of the Indiana General Assembly.
