Case Studies of Managed Aquifer Recharge Projects
NGWA is working with the Ground Water Protection Council and respective members to publish a Groundwater® journal special publication on Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) in 2021.
Sites with either 10 or more years of successful operation, or fewer years operation and extensive studies and reported results, are encouraged to email Tim Parker, chair of the NGWA MAR Work Group, at tparkergwguy@aol.com, and Chuck Job, NGWA manager of regulatory affairs, at cjob@ngwa.org, or submit an expression of interest as soon as possible.
Selected case study authors will be asked to produce a 3-6 page contribution by May 2021.
Papers on Environmental Data Analysis and Management
NGWA is announcing a call for papers for a special issue of Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation® on environmental data analysis and management to inform the groundwater community about modern and emerging tools that can be used to tackle big environmental data sets and improve decision-making. This publication is targeted for 2022.
