On November 19, 2020 from 10-11:30am EST, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) is offering a FREE webinar for those needing a general overview on spill prevention, response, and subsequent waste management.
IDEM’s Emergency Response On-Scene Coordinators will offer information and practical advice on the following:
- Spill response planning, notifications, and reporting
- Contractor selection
Staff from the Compliance and Technical Assistance Program (CTAP) will discuss spill waste management including:
- Solid and hazardous waste determinations
- Proper disposal of various spill related wastes
Information presented is geared toward businesses, consultants, and contractors, but all are invited to attend.
This webinar is part of the E101 Training Series offered by CTAP to assist environmental managers in understanding current state and federal environmental regulations, determine how the regulations apply to Indiana businesses, and demonstrate how to implement practices that strengthen environmental compliance and sustainability efforts.
