MCWEC at Earth Day Indiana Festival

July 29, 2020

Due to the COVID pandemic, Indiana celebrated 50 years of Earth Day this year on July 18 at Historic Military Park. (Earth Day was officially April 22).

MCWEC participated in the Earth Day Indiana Festival along with many other vendors to promote sustainability and good practices.

The day was hot, but we had a good time handing out water cycle coloring pages and little containers with sunflower seeds inside. We had information on Indy ToxDrop and spoke with people about how to protect groundwater and about the wellfields of Marion County.

We’ll be back at Earth Day in 2021!
