The Groundwater Foundation has released a new (free) series of online resources for parents and teachers to learn about groundwater in the classroom or at home.

In Lesson 1 the basic fundamentals of Groundwater are explored. This lesson contains an animated intro video “What is groundwater?” as well as plenty background information to read from the Groundwater Foundation website.

Along with the coloring sheets and word searches that are included in every lesson – Lesson 1 includes a crossword puzzle, aquifer in a cup, and water cycle bracelets.

The Groundwater Foundation also offers a resource search to find material by age, topic, and activity category.
