The North Central Region Water Network is a 12-state collaboration designed to enhance connectivity across regional and state water projects, develop and carry out integrated outreach and education efforts, and coordinate projects with measurable short and long-term environmental and social impacts.
In honor of Imagine a Day Without Water, the North Central Region Water Network presented a webinar that highlighted three cases – Flint, Michigan, Kewaunee County, Wisconsin and Toledo, Ohio – where communities have dealt with water quality concerns and how professionals, researchers, and public agencies have come together to help respond to the crisis, establish solutions, and prevent future water quality impairments.
