MCWEC Showcased at the One Water Action Forum

December 18, 2018

On December 13, the work of MCWEC was showcased as part of a poster presentation by Mundell & Associates titled ““Innovative Groundwater Protection Programs in Marion County, Indiana” at the North Central Region’s One Water Action Forum.

Mundell highlighted one of the most effective ways that MCWEC has assisted in preventing groundwater contamination and improving chemical handling in wellfields – the donation of spill containment and cleanup equipment.

This Action Forum was a join effort on the part of The North Central Region Water Network, Soil and Water Conservation Society, Iowa Soybean Association, and US Water Alliance and brought together researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy-makers to advance more connected and cohesive approaches to water and watershed management.
