One of the most well-known residents of Marion County’s Fall Creek wellfield is the Indiana State Fairgrounds! The State Fairgrounds are located in the southern portion of Fall Creeks one-year (W-1) and five-year (W-5) time of travel zones (if you don’t know what those terms mean, check out this page.
The State Fairgrounds just finished hosting one of their biggest events of the year, the Indiana State Fair, but hosts many events year round in their many facilities. Next time you make it to the fairgrounds, take a moment to think about the groundwater underneath your feet!
